Coast Film & Music Festival Announces Return to Laguna Beach

The 4th annual event is set to kick off on Nov. 9

Laguna Beach is bringing back another big event. The 4th annual Coast Film & Music Festival will kick off on Nov. 9, and the highly anticipated event will feature live music for the first time.

“We’re thrilled to announce that Coast Film & Music will once again take over the Festival of Arts site in Laguna Beach,” Ben Warner, the co-founder of the event, said. “The venue, which is near a protected stretch of ocean as well as 22,000 acres of wilderness park, offers a fantastic indoor/outdoor setting that underscores the themes of the festival.”

The festival is scheduled to last five days, and organizers say it will screen around 50 films. One of those films will be “Five Summer Stories” by Laguna Beach resident Greg MacGillivray. The film is celebrating its 50th anniversary during the festival.

The band “Honk” has been tabbed to provide live music as people enjoy the festival. Residents who attend the festival can also visit bars, a silent disco, food trucks, and other amenities.

The festival will run from Nov. 9 to Nov. 13, and residents who cannot make it in person can watch an online version from Nov. 17 to the 27th. Tickets are available on the festival website.
