Risqué photos of candidate for Laguna Beach City Council, Ruben Flores, have been found on his public social media profile, suggesting a lifestyle which may not be suitable for public office.
Recently, photos have emerged of Ruben Flores, owner of Laguna Nursery and candidate for Laguna Beach City Council appearing to pose nude on his public Facebook page.
Ruben Flores was rejected by voters in his run for Laguna Beach City Council in 2020. During his last race, he ran under the campaign slogan “Bring integrity back to Laguna.” Flores recently announced his candidacy for the upcoming election cycle in early August, stating that he believes “Laguna deserves fresh and creative leadership.”
His 2022 campaign is focusing on issues like civility within the council, Laguna’s natural resources, city marketing, and transparency. He said he wants to be residents’ voice on the city council, yet residents have yet to decide if he is fit to represent them on the council.
